Our identity

The limits of my language mean the limits of my world. Ludwig Wittgenstein

Acento Colombiano was born from this conviction.

Acento Colombiano is where academic rigor meets a deep love for its roots.

Rigorous courses, grounded in the CEFR and a solid methodology. A competitive offer designed to support every student toward their real goals — whether traveling, working, studying, or simply opening up to the world.

And at the heart of it all: a genuine passion for the Spanish language and the richness of Latin America.

Founded by a teacher from Bogotá, Acento Colombiano teaches Spanish as it is truly lived —

with structure, with heart, and with pride in its roots.

Because a language well taught goes far beyond grammar. It opens doors, creates connections, and changes the way you see the world.

A journey between Bogotá, France and Acento Colombiano

Introduction

I am Colombian, born in Bogotá, in the heart of the Andean mountains. Passionate about music, languages and travel, these elements nurtured my curiosity for culture and my way of understanding the world. From early on, teaching and sharing knowledge became a natural path in my journey.

Bogotá — training and first experiences

I earn a degree in Basic Education with a specialisation in Humanities and Languages from Universidad Libre de Colombia. I complement my training with a diploma in music psychopedagogy and a Montessori pedagogy specialisation — tools that enrich my practice for years to come.

First Teaching in Colombia

I teach at preschool, primary and secondary levels as an English teacher and primary school teacher. These years lay the foundation of my pedagogical approach and confirm my belief that every learner deserves tailored support.

France — cultural opening

My arrival in France marked an important step. Through full cultural immersion, I discovered a new way of experiencing languages and exchanges. I understood that language is a living experience, tied to encounters and everyday life.

France — teaching experience

I teach Spanish to children, adults and seniors through personalised classes. I guide learners in discovering the language and Hispanic culture, with an approach centred on communication and real-life context.

Master's in ELE — Valencia

I am currently pursuing a Master's in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, Spain. This programme deepens my pedagogical tools and strengthens my expertise in international Spanish teaching.

A vision taking shape

Through my journey between Colombia and France, I developed a strong conviction: a language is not just learned — it is lived.

Acento Colombiano

From this journey, Acento Colombiano was born. A project that reflects my experience, my training and my vision of language as a living space for connection.
